I am a dreamer,

with a whole universe

of worlds in my head.

Sometimes the dreams

escape and take the

form of words.

But my favorite world

is the one where

we make our home,

the one that exists

on this planet.

For here is where

you secretly steal

my dreams and

make them a part

of your soul.

Until the day

I discover them

in your hands

along with the

very things I needed

for them to come true.

I promise I won’t

tell anyone your secret,

that you possess

the power to read my mind,

to somehow understand

the way it works,

and to bring me back

into the real world

where love always awaits.
