I sent you a letter

in my dreams last night.

Each word was penned

in magical ink,

searing into the parchment

with a golden glow.

It rode on the cool, evening breeze,

slipping between

the narrow opening

of your bedroom window.

My voice whispered

admissions of my endearment,

the loving message

sinking into the depths

of your heart

where I hope

they will blossom and grow.
