Colorblind

colorblind

Sun-kissed skin
and raven tresses,
eyes that hinted
of her Asian roots,
she saw past the pale exterior,
behind the pools of blue
whenever she gazed
into his eyes,
and she discovered
at once with delight
the one she had
been searching for,
the soul that fit with hers.
